Special Exhibition "Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters: TezuCap Fighting Universe 2"

1. Outline of Exhibition
The exhibition "TezuCap Fighting Universe: Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters" held at the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum in 2023 will now be held at the Tokiwaso Manga Museum as "TezuCap Fighting Universe 2" with reconfigured content and the addition of new illustrations.
In 1987, Capcom released Street Fighter as the video-game industry's first one-on-one fighting game. Its sequel, Street Fighter II, truly took the world by storm and laid the foundation for future one-on-one fighting games.
Its momentum swept the entire world, extending beyond video games to animation, character merchandise, and nowadays even "e-sports," referred to as a new form of sports.
The latest Street Fighter 6 released in 2023 carries on the series with legitimate evolution and innovation. Its advanced graphics and dynamic battle scenes with realistic physicality demonstrate new possibilities for one-on-one fighting games, along with the continued evolution of the series.
This exhibition will feature a giant timeline introducing the history of Capcom's one-on-one fighting games from the original Street Fighter to the latest release, Street Fighter 6, as well as key frames and materials from numerous fighting games including Night Warriors and Rival Schools.
It will also feature the addition of new illustrations of Osamu Tezuka's characters by Capcom artists and of Capcom characters by Tezuka Productions artists, which caused a stir at the original "Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters" exhibition, drawn specially for the Tokiwaso Manga Museum.

Round I: Toshima City Tokiwaso Manga Museum (3-9-22 Minaminagasaki. Toshima, Tokyo)
Round II: 1F, Tokiwaso Street Showa Retro Museum (3-4-10 Minaminagasaki, Toshima, Tokyo)
4. Information
Adults: 500 yen; elementary/junior high school students: 100 yen; preschool-aged children or individuals who present a disability certificate along with up to one aide: free
*Admission from the Toshima City Tokiwaso Manga Museum only (A ticket stub must be presented to enter the Showa Retro Museum.)
*As a bonus, each visitor admitted will receive a specially made "Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters: TezuCap Fighting Universe 2" button badge (one badge randomly selected from among a total of 10 designs).
5. Highlights, etc.
・A full array of Capcom's fighting game software will be on display (Tokiwaso Manga Museum).
・Newly drawn works will be added at the venue (Tokiwaso Manga Museum).
・New "Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters" will be added at the venue (Tokiwaso Manga Museum).
・The key frames and development materials displayed inside wall cases will be changed twice during the exhibition period (Tokiwaso Manga Museum).
・Newly drawn main images will be on display (Tokiwaso Manga Museum).
・Many new products will also be added.
・Visitors will be greeted by life-sized cutouts of characters (Tokiwaso Manga Museum and Tokiwaso Street Showa Retro Museum).
